The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) is reporting 265 new COVID-19 cases today and one death.
The death was a man over the age of 79 in Simcoe County.
Today’s update, which is the first since Friday, also includes 4 new hospitalizations.
Currently, there are 37 people hospitalized with the virus throughout the region including 4 in ICUs.
