An on-line survey is up and running to get public input on the design of an archway for downtown Collingwood.
The BIA had come up with a design, after the idea was first proposed back in 2016.
The Archway is seen as a way to entice visitors who drive through Collingwood on Highway 26 to stop and check out the historic downtown core.
But when the design was unveiled earlier this year, there was some negative feedback.
Council has now asked staff to collaborate with the BIA and get public input and report back by the end of May.
Town and BIA launch collaborative public consultation on proposed archway. It is important to Council that Collingwood residents have a say in the design of a project that will be a prominent feature of our downtown.
