The OPP is looking for a red sport utility type vehicle and its driver, after receiving a report of an attempted abduction over the weekend in Collingwood.
Police say a female cyclist was riding in the area of Tenth and Oak Streets on Saturday evening, when she said a man sitting in the driver’s seat of a vehicle reached out of an open window and grabbed her arm as she was going by.
The victim was able to free herself and leave the area.
Investigators say the vehicle is a red SUV or crossover. The driver is described as a white male, heavy build, 30 to 40 years old, wearing a black jacket and red toque.
Anyone with information is asked to reach out to Collingwood OPP or Crime Stoppers.
