Support for Empower Simcoe’s Lakeshore Ridge Project in Oro-Medonte continues to grow as its fundraising campaign enters the final phase.
Recently, it says the 2022 AlectraCARES Community Support Program announced a contribution of $5,000, and Empower Simcoe is inviting other businesses to match it.
Lakeshore Ridge is an innovative, state-of-the-art supported living home that will give people with multiple complex needs the supports and services they need to thrive. The home is under construction in Oro-Medonte and is set for completion by summer 2022.
The Lakeshore Ridge fundraising campaign has raised 58% of its $250,000 goal. The funds raised through the campaign will help with the finishing touches for the home, including furniture, equipment, décor, landscaping, a dedicated van, and more.
