Police say a hoax threat that evacuated the Goderich McDonalds last week came from northern Ontario.
OPP were called to the McDonalds location on Bayfield Road on Friday to investigate a threatening message received over the phone.
Reports say the restaurant was immediately evacuated, and later cleared by police.
According to police, the call originated from the Longlac area of Ontario, near Thunder Bay.
Members from the Greenstone OPP Detachment were able to locate and arrest a young person without incident, officials say.
The 15-year-old youth from Longlac has been charged with one count of Mischief and a court date has been scheduled for later this spring in Longlac.
