The annual event is focused on accelerating solutions to combat our greatest threat, climate change, and to activate everyone – governments, citizens, and businesses – to do their part.
This year’s theme is “Invest in Our Planet”.
The event encourages everyone to recognize our collective responsibility to help accelerate the transition to an equitable, prosperous green economy for all.
Many of the warmest years on record have happened in the past 20 years and this Sunday, the temperature is expected to climb above 20 degrees Celsius, which could break weather records across the region.
