The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) is reporting 465 new COVID-19 cases today and two deaths.
Deaths include a man between 65 and 79 years old and a woman older than 79. Both were from Simcoe County.
Today’s update – the first since Wednesday – also includes 6 new hospitalizations.
Currently, there are 20 people hospitalized in the region with the virus including two people in ICUs.
