FLATO Developments is holding a Community Engagement Meeting Wednesday to gather information about what kind of housing and developments the community would like to see.
It’s set to take place Wednesday, April 13th from 4-7 p.m. (drop-in hours) at the Frank MacIntyre Building in Dundalk.
FLATO says the purpose of the meeting is to discuss diversity of housing options including purpose-built rentals as well as commercial spaces.
FLATO says it will share proposed plans for purpose-built rentals and commercial spaces.
An email from a FLATO spokesperson says three development locations will be discussed.
They include the northwest corner of Ida Street and County Road 9, as well as a location north of the existing development that’s just north of Main Street and west of Highway 10. The third location is west of Highway 10 and east of the Grey County Rail Trail.
A statement says, community feedback is the reason for holding the event, saying, “FLATO Developments Inc. is committed to serving the communities we are in. Engaging with residents to better understand the needs of those who live in Dundalk and the surrounding areas is an important part of our work.”
FLATO has developments in Owen Sound, Dundalk, Beeton, Markham, Caledon, Oakville, Brampton and Vaughan, among other locations.
