A COVID-19 outbreak has been declared at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital.
It is affecting the Integrated Medicine and Rehab Service Unit, and so far seven patients have tested positive.
The hospital says enhanced testing of all other patients and staff is underway, and isolation and outbreak management protocols are in place. The unit is closed to visitors.
