A shoplifting investigation in Orillia has resulted in the arrests of two women.
The OPP were called to a theft in progress at a business on Murphy Road on Saturday night, when officers located two suspects who had attempted to flee the scene on foot.
Police were also able to determine that the vehicle they were using was reported stolen from the Bancroft area.
The accused, aged 21 and 45, are now facing several charges and a future court date.
