A daytime robbery at a downtown Midland business has resulted in an arrest.
Monday around noon, a man entered a business on King Street.
He left for a few minutes but then returned and smashed a display case.
He removed merchandise from the broken case and then fled on foot.
The owner of the business chased him on foot but the man escaped in a nearby vehicle.
OPP investigated and made an arrest today.
32-year-old Trevor Karson of Midland was charged with robbery with violence, theft over $5,000, and dangerous driving.
He was released from custody and will appear in court at a later date.
