There has been a serious two-vehicle crash on Highway 12 in Oro-Medonte this morning.
The OPP is currently on the scene of the crash, which happened just before 5am on the highway at Stagecoach Road.
Police say one driver has been pronounced dead at the scene, while the other driver is being airlifted to a Toronto-area trauma centre.
Highway 12 will be closed for several hours in both directions, between Line 12 and Moonstone Road, as OPP Technical Collision Investigators and Reconstructionists complete their investigation.
