A man has been arrested, following a traffic stop in Orillia.
The OPP says a vehicle was stopped for a Highway Traffic Act offence early Monday morning, when a 29 year old man was taken into custody.
Police say the accused, Alexander CAMERON, 29, of the City of Orillia was charged with the following:
· CC 145(5)(a) Fail to comply with release order,
· CC Section 354(1)(a) Poss. of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000,
· CDSA Section 4(1) Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Cocaine
· CA Section 8(1)(a) Possession of over 30g dried cannabis in a public place
· CA Section 9(2) Possession for the purpose of distributing
· CA Section 8(1)(b) Possession of illicit cannabis
· CA Section 10(2) Possessing cannabis for the purpose of selling
The accused was released on an appearance notice with a Court Date of May 17 2022, at the Ontario Court of Justice in the City of Orillia.
