Nominations are now being accepted for both Orillia’s Woman of the Year.
It is given to a woman who is respected for her outstanding work in the community, in the workplace, at home or all three but especially in the community.
Meanwhile, the young woman of the year nominees are selected by their respective schools and voting for both awards is done by independent, anonymous citizens from the area.
The 2022 Woman of the Year Gala will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2022.
The nominees can reside in the City of Orillia or the surrounding townships. The deadline to submit a name is April 20, 2022.
