The Owen Sound Attack are set to head on the road to play the Guelph Storm Friday night with a chance to officially clinch a playoff spot.
A win for the Attack over Guelph, or a loss by the Erie Otters to the Hamilton Bulldogs tonight will earn Owen Sound its 11th straight playoff berth.
The Attack-Storm game is also a big one in terms of playoff positioning. The Attack are currently four points ahead of Guelph for fifth in the OHL’s Western Conference, but the Storm hold three games in hand.
The Attack enter tonight’s contest with back-to-back wins and are 8-3-0-0 against the Storm this season. Guelph has lost four straight.
Game time is 7:30 p.m. at the Sleeman Centre in Guelph. 560 CFOS will carry the game live starting with the Joe Tomato’s pre-game show at 7 p.m. on Terry’s Trailer Service-Kia of Owen Sound Bearadio.
