The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) is reporting 307 new COVID-19 cases today.
Today’s update – the first since Monday – also includes 3 new hospitalizations.
Currently, there are 14 people hospitalized with the virus in the region including three cases in ICUs.
To date, 85 percent of the region’s over 5 population has received a first vaccine dose, while 82 percent have received a second.
53 percent of the region’s over 12 population has received a third/booster dose.
