Barrie Police say they didn’t have to search very hard, after being called about a suspicious person checking the handles of parked cars in the city’s north end.
Police say they followed footprints in the snow from the area of Farmingdale and Springdale early Monday morning, which led officers to a 72 year old man, who was taken into custody.
As a result of the investigation, police were able to determine that the suspect encountered several locked cars and say he is now facing charges of trespass at night, possession of stolen property and breach of probation.
