A traffic stop in Orillia has led to several drug and weapons charges.
The OPP says a swerving vehicle was stopped on Highway 11 north of Campbell Road in Severn Township on Saturday, when officers began a drug investigation.
Police say all occupants of the vehicle were arrested and a search resulted in the seizure of quantities of cocaine, heroin, fentanyl, cannabis and methamphetamine as well as a quantity of cash and a knife.
As a result of the investigation, police say Chance Allick, age 22 and Ta Jaun Greaves, age 21 from Toronto have been charged with:
- CC 354(1)(a) Adult Possession of proceeds of property obtained by Crime under $5000 – in Canada
- CDSA 4(1) Adult of Possession of a Schedule I Substance – cocaine
- CDSA 4(1) Adult of Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Opioid (other than heroin)
- CDSA 4(1) Adult of Possession of a Schedule I Substance – methamphetamine
- CDSA 5(2) Adult Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – opioid (other than heroin)
- CDSA 5(2) Adult Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – cocaine
- CDSA 5(2) Adult Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – methamphetamine
- CA 9(1) (1)(a)(iv) Adult Distribute illicit cannabis
- CA 8(1)(b) Adult Possession of illicit cannabis
An additional occupant from Toronto, who cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YJCA) has been charged with the following as well:
- CC 354(1)(a) Adult Possession of proceeds of property obtained by Crime under $5000 – in Canada
- CC 90 YPC carrying concealed weapon x 2
- CC 88 YPC Possession of a weapon for Dangerous Purpose x 2
- CC 145(5)(a) YPC Failure to Comply with Release order – other than to attend court
- CDSA 4(1) Adult of Possession of a Schedule I Substance – cocaine
- CDSA 4(1) Adult of Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Opioid (other than heroin)
- CDSA 4(1) Adult of Possession of a Schedule I Substance – methamphetamine
- CDSA 5(2) Adult Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – opioid (other than heroin)
- CDSA 5(2) Adult Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – cocaine

All three suspects were held for a bail hearing, remanded into custody.
