A 40-year-old Tay Township man faces theft and other charges after building materials were stolen from a West Service Road address.
The owner called OPP after 5 pm Friday to report the theft.
Police found the truck and stolen goods nearby – turns out the rental truck had been reported stolen too.
The accused was charged with theft under $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, theft of a motor vehicle, and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
He was released on recognizance and is set to appear in court on May 19th.
