The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) is reporting 284 new COVID-19 cases and two deaths.
Deaths include a man and woman over the age of 79 from Simcoe County.
Today’s update is the first since Wednesday.
It also includes 3 new hospitalizations.
Currently, there are 15 people hospitalized with the virus in the region including 3 people in ICUs.
