Colby Barlow has been named the Huron Tractor Player of the Week for the week of March 14-20.
After breaking the age 16-year season goal record for the Owen Sound team the weekend prior, Barlow continued his goal surge netting one in each of the Attack’s games this past week. Along with his three goals, the rookie winger also added a triplet of assists throughout the week, bring him to 40 points on the season.
As he continues to set the goal scoring record out of reach, Barlow now has his sights set on the all-time points record by a 16-year old in Attack history. Currently, just seven points behind assistant coach Joey Hishon, who notched 47 points during the 2007-08 season. With 10 games remaining in the regular season, Barlow will have lots of opportunity to catch and surpass the points record, as he continues to cement himself as the best 16-year old in Owen Sound history.
