The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) is reporting 227 new COVID-19 cases in its first update since Friday.
There have been four new hospitalizations.
21 people are currently hospitalized with the virus in the region. Five people are in local ICU’s with it.
To date, 431 people have died in our region with COVID-19.
