A Chesley man has won the lottery.
The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation says in a release Philip Jackman of Chesley won $104,529 with the second prize playing lotto 6/49.
Jackman won in the January 26th, 2022 LOTTO 6/49 draw.
Jackman, a 55-year-old father, says in a release, he was shocked to realize he was a big winner, “I couldn’t believe it,” he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings. “It feels really good. Now I can do some of the things I’ve always dreamed of.”
He says he’s going to finish building his house, invest and would like to retire earlier. “I’ll also treat myself to a trip to Jamaica,” says Jackman.
The winning ticket was purchased at Petro Canada on Kennedy Road in Scarborough.
