Grey Bruce OPP have laid assault charges in Chatsworth.
Police say they were called on March 8th at about 8:30 p.m. to a report of an altercation at a residence in the Township of Chatsworth.
OPP say officers arrived on scene and spoke to the involved individuals. They say officers determined a criminal offence had been committed and placed one of the individuals under arrest.
Grey Bruce OPP have charged a 68-year-old woman from the Township of Chatsworth with assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm and failure to comply with undertaking.
Police did not name the woman but say she was held for a bail hearing and will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound at a later date.
