Provincial police say a motorist had his vehicle struck by bullets on highway 400 in Barrie.
It happened Sunday night when the motorist told police he heard popping sounds as two vehicles sped past him southbound between Mapleview Drive and Innisfil Beach Road.
Police later found bullet holes and a bullet fragment inside the victim’s car.
The two vehicles that sped past are described as an SUV and a sedan.
The OPP are appealing for any witnesses to contact them and if you have dash cam video from the area between 10:30 and 11 p.m. Sunday investigators would like to review it.
