The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) is reporting 127 new COVID-19 cases today.
There are no deaths being reported today and there have been no new hospitalizations due to the virus.
There are currently 21 people hospitalized with the virus throughout the region and 7 people in ICUs.
To date, 85 percent of the region’s over 5 population has received a first vaccine dose, while 81 percent have received a second.
52 percent of the region’s over 18 population has received a third booster dose.
