The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) is reporting 162 new COVID-19 cases today and no deaths.
Today’s update also includes 3 new hospitalizations – there are currently 28 people hospitalized and 7 people in ICU’s with the virus throughout the region.
To date, 85 percent of the region’s over 5 population has received a first vaccine dose, while 81 percent has received a second. 52 percent of the region’s over 18 population has received a third booster dose.
