Flags at the Clearview Administration Centre, facilities and Fire Halls are being lowered to half-staff today to honour the passing of former Clearview Township CAO Ted Hannan.
Ted served as the Chief Administrative Officer at Clearview’s inauguration in 1994 until his retirement in 2000 and saw the community through the amalgamation of the Town of Stayner, Township of Nottawasaga, Township of Sunnidale and Village of Creemore, setting up many of the original systems and procedures in the then newly formed Township of Clearview.
“Ted Hannan’s contribution to the early days of Clearview Township established our path to success as a community. He was a leader and a collaborator of employees, volunteers and served our citizens through the work of many Councils.” Said Mayor Doug Measures, “Ted was involved in his community after retirement and was a supporter & volunteer at the Sunnidale Winterama. He was always proud of Clearview. To the Hannan family, I offer the condolences of a grateful community.”
Clearview Township’s condolences are with Ted’s family during this difficult time.
We will miss seeing Ted in our community. 📸from the 1995 Clearview Council portrait. #localmatters https://t.co/EQntDVTcIr pic.twitter.com/rFjYczWN7m
