The James Goreski Private Foundation says in 2021, they made about $350,000 in charitable grants.
The foundation says since they began in 2019, their directors who share a mission to improve the lives of residents in Grey and Bruce counties by providing resources to groups and organizations geared to the promotion of health and helping those who suffer from health-related issues, have awarded grants equaling $510,000.
While the foundation says they are pleased with this achievement, they aim to reach more people.
To meet this ambition, the foundation is looking to receive a grater number of applications in 2022 than ever before.
“Many of last year’s applicants were pleasantly surprised to learn our organizers would safely and responsibly meet with them in person at their site; a gesture not many charitable foundations offer,” says the foundation.
The foundation adds by guiding applicants through the grant application process, they will be able to help increase their chance for success, as their mission is to help get funds to where it is needed most.
“We hope you will join us in alleviating financial stress in the lives of Grey and Bruce County residents with health-related issues,” says the foundation.
Application forms and criteria descriptions can be found at the James Goreski Foundation website.
