A pair of fundraising walks to combat homelessness in Huron County exceeded their goals.
Donors in Wingham and Goderich took part in the Coldest Night of the Year walk Saturday.
The Wingham walk, hosted by the Northern Huron Connection Centre, raised $39, 491.
That is 111 per cent of their $35,500 goal.
The Goderich Walk raised 113 per cent of their $94 thousand goal, bringing in $106,841 for the Huron Homelessness Initiative.
