The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) is reporting 196 new COVID-19 cases today and one death.
There are also three new hospitalizations being reported by the health unit today.
47 people are in ICU throughout the region.
To date, 85 percent of the region’s over 5 population has received its first vaccine dose while 81 have received a second. 47 percent of the region’s over 18 population has received a third booster dose.
