A 72-year-old Oro-Medonte man has reportedly been sentenced to six years in prison in connection with the shooting death of Lee William Lackey.
The 34 year old man was killed on January 30th, 2019, after he entered the home of Peter Vanderveen uninvited, despite having listed the residence as his mailing address.
Vanderveen was initially charged with first-degree murder, but pleaded guilty to manslaughter, insisting he never meant to pull the trigger.
