The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) is reporting 175 new COVID-19 cases today and 1 death.
The death is a woman from Simcoe County over the age of 79.
Today’s update also includes 2 new hospitalizations – currently, there are 37 people hospitalized with the virus throughout the region.
To date, 86 percent of the region’s over 5 population has received its first vaccine dose while 82 percent has received its second. 47 percent of the regions over 18 population has received a third/booster dose
