Women’s non-profit Dress for Success Orillia and Barrie is starting up its 9-week Breakfast Club program again, at least virtually.
The Breakfast Club is a free nine-week program designed to support women who are unemployed or underemployed and are actively looking for work.
Participants set goals, take part in personality assessment, and learn from facilitators about topics such as job interviews, career stepping stones, mentorships, motivation, confidence, mental health, support networks and more.
It runs every Tuesday from 9:30-11:30AM, starting tomorrow, February 8th.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the program is running virtually. If participants attend seven of the nine weeks they will receive a salon gift card and a grocery gift card.
All female job-seekers are welcome and the program is entirely free.
