The OPP is investigating a serious assault in Wasaga Beach.
Police received a 9-1-1 call at a home on River Road East on Wednesday night, when officers located a man inside suffering from life-threatening injuries.
Police say the victim was taken to hospital where he remains in critical but stable condition, while two men wearing dark winter coats with fur-lined hoods were seen fleeing the residence on foot towards Main Street.
The first suspect is described as male, 6′-6’3″ (183-190 cms), wearing a dark winter coat with a fur-lined hood, toque, gloves, a medical mask and spoke with an accent.
The second suspect is described as male, 5’10” (178 cms), wearing a dark winter coat with a fur-lined hood, black pants, a balaclava, black medical mask, camouflage neck warmer and gloves.
Investigators believe this was a targeted incident and local residents will continue to see an increased police presence in the area.
