An arrest has been made, two weeks after a search of a Dashwood home turned up six figures in controlled substances.
OPP executed a search warrant of a residence on Centre Street on January 18th, reportedly seizing a large quantity of Fentanyl and other drugs and paraphernalia.
According to police, the combined street value of the seized items is over $110 thousand.
Officials say an arrest warrant was secured, and the accused was arrested this past weekend.
A 37 year old man from Dashwood is facing seventeen charges, including:
- Possession of Fentanyl for the Purposes of Trafficking
- Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purposes of Trafficking
- Possession of Cocaine for the Purposes of Trafficking
- Possession of Heroin for the Purposes of Trafficking
- Possession of Psilocybin for the Purposes of Trafficking
- Possession of a Firearm contrary to Prohibition Order – 5 counts
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 – 3 counts
- Careless Storage of a Firearm – 2 counts
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon
