The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) is reporting 140 new COVID-19 cases and 7 deaths.
Deaths include two men between 65 and 79, a man between 45 and 64 years of age, three men over 79, and a woman over 79.
All were from Simcoe County.
Today’s update includes 11 new hospitalizations.
At least 55 people are hospitalized with the virus throughout the region.
