The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) is reporting 390 new COVID-19 cases today and two deaths.
Today’s update also includes 10 new hospitalizations. Currently, there are 57 people reported hospitalized in the region due to the virus.
Today’s cases include 97 unvaccinated people, 12 partially vaccinated, and 221 fully vaccinated.
To date, 85 percent of the region’s over 5 population has received a first vaccine dose, while 80 percent has received two.
44 percent of the region’s over 18 population has received a third booster dose.
