The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit is reporting 325 new COVID-19 cases today and five deaths.
The deaths include three Simcoe County women and one man all over the age of 79 and one woman from Simcoe between the ages of 65 and 79.
55 people are currently hospitalized throughout the region due to the virus and this includes nine new hospitalizations since yesterday.
To date, 85 percent of the region’s over 5 population has received one vaccine dose while 80 percent has received two. 43 percent of the region’s over 18 population has received a third dose/booster.
