South Bruce OPP have charged a couple of people with impaired driving.
Police says on Monday at (January 17) at about 7:30 p.m., officers received a report of a vehicle in the ditch along Bruce County Road 4 in Brant Township. OPP say they responded and determined that the driver had been drinking alcohol.
According to police, while in custody, the driver became combative with officers.
A 22 year old Carrick Township woman is charged with Impaired Driving, Operate over 80 milligrams, Assault a Peace Officer and Obstruct a Peace Officer.
In a separate incident, on January 19th, just after 1:30 p.m. South Bruce OPP received a report of a single vehicle collision along Bruce County Road 3 in Brant Township. Police say officers arrived and determined that the driver had been drinking alcohol.
A 44 year old Brockton man was charged with Impaired Driving, Operate over 80 milligrams and Having care or control of a vehicle with open Liquor. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
