The Town of Wasaga Beach has received a financial boost for its transit operations through the Government of Ontario’s 2021-2022 Gas Tax Program.
The funding is awarded annually and this year, the town has received just over $226 thousand dollars.
Wasaga Beach Transit operates two routes, seven days per week.
It also provides connecting links through the County of Simcoe transit service to Collingwood, Stayner, and Barrie.
