The bitter cold continues today.
Looking at the long-range forecast, below seasonal temperatures are expected to stick around until at least mid-next week.
An Extreme Cold Warning remains in effect.
Environment Canada says a prolonged period of very cold wind chills is expected that will continue to make it feel near minus 30 to minus 35 degrees Celsius.
The normal high for this time of year is minus 4, while today we’ll only reach a high of minus 13.
