The Grey Bruce Health Unit says there are many appointments available to be booked, with the Covid vaccination hub at the Bayshore Community Centre in Owen Sound set to wrap up on Friday.
According to Public Health, the hub at the Bayshore will operate from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday-Wednesday, then from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday.
Friday is the final day the hub clinic will be running.
The Health Unit says everyone aged 12-59 years of age seeking first, second, third or fourth doses requires an appointment at all clinics (no walk-ins) and must meet all eligibility criteria.
“Everyone is strongly encouraged to book for all appointments; however, those 60+ may be accommodated for walk-ins depending on clinic capacity,” a statement from Public Health explains.
Individuals 18 and over are eligible to schedule their booster dose appointment through the Ontario’s booking portal or by calling the Provincial Vaccine Contact Centre and through Indigenous-led vaccination clinics and participating pharmacies and primary care settings.
