The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) is reporting 358 new COVID-19 cases today and no new deaths.
Currently, there are 27 people hospitalized with the virus in the region and six people in the ICU.
There are no new hospitalizations since yesterday.
Today’s cases include 15 partially vaccinated people, 152 unvaccinated, and 60 fully vaccinated.
To date, 85 percent of the region’s over 5 population has received one vaccine dose, while 80 percent has received their second. 37 percent of the over 18 population has received a booster/third vaccine dose.
