Huron County OPP recorded an increase in impaired driving charges during the 2021-2022 edition of their Festive RIDE Campaign.
21 drivers were charged with Impaired Operation by Huron OPP during the campaign, a notable rise from six the previous year.
Huron County OPP conducted a total of 230 RIDE events during the campaign versus 183 during the previous campaign.
Provincially, over the 46-day campaign, OPP officers worked conducted 8,370 RIDE events.
