Grey Bruce is in for more snow today.
Environment Canada has issued a snow squall warning for Saugeen Shroes, Kincardine and southern Bruce County. Forecasters say heavy bands of snow are expected with up to 15 centimetres falling.
Forecasters say squalls have developed off of Lake Huron and are expected to continue through this evening.
The snow is expected to persist until late this evening.
Meanwhile, in northern Grey County — including Owen Sound — a winter weather travel advisory is in effect.
Environment Canada says lake effect snow off of Georgian Bay is expected and will bring 5 to 10 centimetres.
“Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas,” a statement from Environment Canada says. “If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.”
For the rest of the region, flurries are expected Friday with the risk of squalls.
