The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) is reporting 524 new COVID-19 cases and one new death.
46 of today’s cases are children.
Today’s update also includes 4 new hospitalizations and 70 newly resolved cases.
To date, 85 percent of the region’s over-5 population has received its first vaccine dose while 79 percent has received its second.
37 percent of the region’s over-18 population has received a booster vaccine dose.
