Three suspected drunk drivers have been arrested by Huronia West OPP within a 10-hour time span.
Police say a vehicle collided with a pole on Sunnidale near George Johnson Road on Tuesday night, when the driver was arrested at the scene for impaired driving.
A short time later, police were called to a head-on crash on Highway 400 in Springwater, where another driver was arrested.
And another crash happened early yesterday morning on River Road West in Wasaga Beach, where a 24 year old was taken into custody on similar charges.
As a result of this collision, Charlea LAROCQUE of Wasaga Beach has been charged with:
· Operation While Impaired – Alcohol & Drugs
· Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration 80 Plus
LAROCQUE’s driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and the vehicle was impounded for seven days. LAROCQUE is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Collingwood on the 8th of February 2022.
