OPP say Good Samaritan Drug Overdose Act will protect anyone reporting an overdose.
OPP say they are concerned about a rash of recent overdose deaths in Huron County.
Police say four overdose deaths were recorded in the county in December, with one occurring Christmas Eve.
According to reports, two men — a 32 year old and 43 year old — along with two women — 42 and 43 years of age — all died this month as a result of accidental opioid overdoses.
Throughout 2021, Huron OPP say they have responded to 32 drug overdose incidents, including eight deaths.
