The South Bruce Grey Health Centre has updated its visitor policy to adapt to the global increase in cases of COVID-19.
It says in a release, as of December 23rd, general visiting will remain closed.
Inpatients can have two visitors (partners in care) per day and they must be the same two people for the duration of the patient’s stay.
Those in need of the emergency department, outpatients or ambulatory care should come alone unless support is required for accessibility reasons.
For the family birthing centre, one partner in care is permitted.
For end of life visits a clinical team can be consulted for additional visiting options for compassionate reasons.
